Scuba Diving

Pelion's potential has helped to develop a number of activities on the mountain and the sea that will make your experience unique.

Leisure diving is a popular alternative tourism activity. Diving as an activity attracts a large number of visitors who aim to get an unforgettable experience, exploring the seabed and getting to know the underwater world. More generally, the Greek seas hide a wonderful wealth of coastal prehistoric settlements, shipwrecks and archaeological finds. In the area of Volos, as well as Pelion, special programs of experience, training and guided diving are provided.
Scuba diving is offered to everyone, beginners and specialist divers, from the age of 10 and up, where with oxygen bottles and special equipment, lovers of the liquid element have the opportunity to explore the sunken elements of our culture. In the wider area of the Pagasitic Gulf and on the Pelion coast, especially in the areas of Afissos, Horto and Agia Kiriaki, modern and specialized diving schools are able to serve divers of any category, at any time, safely, responsibly and with the latest equipment.
